Surah Balad in Arabic
بِسْمِ
اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
لَا أُقْسِمُ
بِهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ
وَأَنْتَ حِلٌّ بِهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ
وَوَالِدٍ
وَمَا وَلَدَ
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي كَبَدٍ
أَيَحْسَبُ أَنْ لَنْ يَقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ
يَقُولُ أَهْلَكْتُ مَالًا لُبَدًا
أَيَحْسَبُ أَنْ لَمْ يَرَهُ أَحَدٌ
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلْ
لَهُ عَيْنَيْنِ
وَلِسَانًا
وَشَفَتَيْنِ
وَهَدَيْنَاهُ النَّجْدَيْنِ
فَلَا اقْتَحَمَ الْعَقَبَةَ
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْعَقَبَةُ
فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ
أَوْ إِطْعَامٌ فِي يَوْمٍ ذِي مَسْغَبَةٍ
يَتِيمًا ذَا مَقْرَبَةٍ
أَوْ مِسْكِينًا ذَا مَتْرَبَةٍ
ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ
وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْمَرْحَمَةِ
أُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْمَيْمَنَةِ
وَالَّذِينَ
كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِنَا هُمْ أَصْحَابُ الْمَشْأَمَةِ
عَلَيْهِمْ
نَارٌ مُؤْصَدَةٌ
Surah Balad in English
Meccan Surah ; Verse: 20; Section: 1
In the name of
Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
I do call to observe this City;
What's more, you are a freeman of this City;
What's more, (the spiritualist ties of) parent and youngster;
Verily We have made man into work and battle.
Thinked he, that none has control over him?
He might say (bombastically); Abundance have I wasted in plenitude!
Thinketh he that none beholdeth him?
Have We not made for him a couple of eyes?
What's more, a tongue, and a couple of lips?
What's more, shown him the two expressways?
In any case, he hath made no scramble on the way that is steep.
Also, what will disclose to you the way that is steep?
(It is:) liberating the bondman;
Or on the other hand the giving of food in a day of privation
To the vagrant with cases of relationship,
Or on the other hand to the destitute (down) in the residue.
Then, at that point will he be of the people who accept, and charge tolerance, (steadiness, and patience), and - urge deeds of generosity and sympathy.
Such are the Allies of the Right Hand.
However, the individuals who reject Our Signs, they are the (miserable) Mates of the Left Hand.
On them will be Fire vaulted over (for what it's worth).
Surah Balad in Bangla
মাক্কী সূরা ; আয়াত :20 ; রুকু :1
পরম করুণাময়
ও অসীম
দয়ালু আল্লাহর
নামে
আমি কসম করছি এ (পবিত্র) নগরীর,
এ নগরীতে আপনি (দায়দায়িত্বমুক্ত) একজন বাসিন্দা
আমি কসম করছি
(আদি) পিতা ও
(তার ঔরস থেকে)
যা সে জন্ম
দিয়েছে (তাদের);
আমি মানুষকে এক কঠোর পরিশ্রমের মাঝে সৃষ্টি করেছি।
এ মানুষটি কি একথা মনে করে, তার ওপর কারােই কোনাে ক্ষমতা চলবে না?
সে বলে, আমি তাে প্রচুর সম্পদ উড়িয়ে দিয়েছি।
সে কি ভেবেছে তার এসব (কর্মকাণ্ড) কেউ দেখেনি?
আমি কি (ভালােমন্দ দেখার জন্যে) তাকে দুটো চোখ দেইনি?
আমি কি তাকে একটি জিহ্বা ও দুটো ঠোট দেইনি?
আমি কি তাকে (ন্যায় অন্যায়) দুটো পথ বলে দেইনি?
(কিন্তু সে তাে (দুর্গম পথ) পার হওয়ার হিম্মত দেখায়নি।
আপনি কি জানেন সে দুর্গম পথটি কি?
(তা হচ্ছে) দাসত্বের শিকল খুলে (কাউকে মুক্ত করে) দেয়া,
দুর্ভিক্ষের দিনে কাউকে কিছু খাবার দেয়া,
নিকটতম কোনাে আত্মীয় এতীমকে আহার পৌছানাে,
কিংবা ধুলাে লুণ্ঠিত কোনাে মিসকীনকে কিছু দান করা।
অতঃপর তাদের দলে শামিল হয়ে যারা ঈমান আনবে এবং একে অপরকে ধৈর্যের অনুশীলন করাবে এবং একে অপরকে দয়া -দেখানাের উপদেশ দেবে।
(সত্যিকার অর্থে) এরাই হচ্ছে ডান দিকের (সৌভাগ্যবান লােক)।
আর যারা অস্বীকার করেছে তারা হচ্ছে বাম দিকের ব্যর্থ লােক।
যেখানে তাদের ওপর আগুনের শিখা ছেয়ে থাকবে।
